Your private tour guide will pick you up at the hotel. You drive 40 km south to Dahshur to the royal necropolis – a pyramid and burial ground of ancient Egypt. The necropolis is home to many famous pyramids of King Sneferu. Sneferu was the first ancient Egyptian king or pharaoh of the 4th dynasty in the Old Kingdom. Once there, your tour to the great pyramids, the red pyramid and the curved pyramid begins.<\/span><\/p>\n

We continue to Saqqara to the step pyramid of Zoser, the oldest large stone structure in the world. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. He was in turn the first ancient Egyptian king, resp. Pharaoh of the 3rd Dynasty in the Old Kingdom.<\/span><\/p>\n

After lunch at a local restaurant, the excursion continues to the famous Giza Pyramids. You will visit the three pyramids Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nearby is the Great Sphinx, which you can then take care of. Only the Sphinx herself knows what secrets the lion’s body with the head of a pharaoh has been holding for thousands of years. Today’s tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple of King Chephren.<\/span><\/p>\n

After this first day in Egypt, with its many cultural highlights, you will drive back to Cairo to your hotel.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the early morning your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and take you to Bahariya Oasis. This is around 360 km east of Cairo and the journey takes around four hours. Then visit the Black Desert and the natural hot spring of El Haize, which is also known as the St. George Oasis.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next stop on today’s tour is the Kristallberg, in English \u201cCrystal Mountain\u201d. It is a mountain ridge that is covered by countless crystals and is lined up in the rock formations in the valley of Agabat – the place of magical beauty. The contrast between the large rocks with their white color and the golden, glittering sand is particularly impressive.<\/span><\/p>\n

The journey continues to the White Desert National Park. The White Desert is rightly considered the most famous desert destination in Egypt. The number of extremely beautiful rocks shaped by the wind in the form of giant mushrooms is not as great as here in any other desert in the world. Marvel at the magnificence of this desert landscape.<\/span><\/p>\n

Depending on the possibility, you can camp in the White Desert or stay overnight in the Oasis Hotel Farafra.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visit the golden mummy exhibition and the huge tomb with the two aristocratic graves from the 26th dynasty. You will also see the very marvelous tomb of Bannantiu, also in the Bahariya oasis. <\/span><\/p>\n

Then you climb the Black Mountain, which is covered in black powder. At the top you will experience a fantastic view over the Bahariya Oasis. Enjoy lunch in the Bahariya Oasis before heading back to Cairo.<\/span><\/p>\n
