We designed this Egypt tour especially for people who are dependent on a wheelchair in their everyday life due to a physical handicap. We take you to the most important historical places and sites of Egyptian history. Travel barrier-free from Cairo via Luxor to Aswan. Let yourself be drawn into the spell of the pyramids and experience the pulsating energy of the cities and the hospitality of the locals. On the last stage you will get to know the country by water: you will sail the Nile on a sailing ship from Luxor to Aswan.

Important information on travel preparation

Please send us a copy of the inside of your passport no later than 16 days before departure. Please note the valid passport and visa regulations. In order to be able to enter Egypt, you need, for example, a valid passport that is valid for at least 6 months after your arrival. The Egypt visa for travelers from Switzerland is valid for one month and can cost around CHF 25. be purchased at the airport upon entry.

Please notify us of any special requests before arrival (e.g. special meals due to diabetes, allergies, vegan diet, etc.).


Notes on prices
  • Prices in SFr. per person
  • Extra charge for single travelers.
  • Lower price in low season (May-Sep) and group tours.
  • Cut-off dates: Christmas, New Year & Easter.

Regulations for accompanying children:

  • Babies up to 2 years: pay only flight and handling fee approx. SFr. 200.- 300.-
  • 2-6 years: pay only flight and handling fee approx. SFr. 600.- 700.-
  • 6-11 years: 25% less.
  • 11 + years: full tour price.

The provisions apply to children traveling with you who share a room with their parents (maximum of 1 child in the parents’ room).

If your sightseeing tour includes domestic flights, a child supplement will be required.

Notes on accommodation
  • Hotel categories are country categories according to the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism.
  • Check in at around 2:00 p.m.
  • Check out at around 12:00 pm
  • The ship’s cabin will be assigned upon embarkation.
  • Accommodation in another, equivalent hotel in exceptional cases.
Notes on the itinerary
  • Itinerary of the Nile Cruise may vary depending on the location in the water, but a visit to all of the sights mentioned is guaranteed.
  • In exceptional cases, the tour guide can change the order of the viewing dates.
  • The comfortable sleeper trains in Egypt are regularly checked and serviced for safety.
  • The drive from Cairo to Luxor takes about 11 hours, from Aswan to Cairo about 14 hours.
  • Tips are not included in the tour price. However, you are not obliged to pay such additional expenses on site.
